Security Lethbridge

In the summer of 2010, Securcom became aware of a need for the Boys & Girls Club to upgrade their existing security and monitoring systems. Coincidentally Securcom became a Giving Alliance Partner. The club benefited from new monitoring equipment, surveillance equipment, an ongoing maintenance program and monitoring contract free of charge.

"It was really amazing that Securcom would step forward with this type of contribution to the club. This agreement will ensure that our building is secure and that the children and youth who attend our various programs are safe. By eliminating these costs through this partnership, we can spend the money that would have been allocated to security towards program related expenses. It also provides us with an opportunity to negotiate a better rate for building insurance down the road." - Trever Broadhead, Executive Director, Boys & Girls Club of Lethbridge & District.

Securcom joined the Giving Alliance Partnership in October 2010 and have since contributed over $8,000 in monitoring and surveillance equipment and services.

Additionally Securcom came on board as a “hole sponsor” in the “Canadian Tire Care for Kids Golf Tournament” that runs in conjunction with the Lethbridge Food Bank.
